The .22 Rimfire targets are made from the same AR500 hardened steel, but use 1/4" thick plate instead of the 3/8" thick plate used in the center fire targets. The lighter weight of these targets makes them more reactive for use with the lower energy of the 22 rimfire ammunition. Use of larger caliber handgun ammunition is not recommended due to the light weight of the targets. The AR500 steel provides extreme long life and excellent impact resistance.
